Fantastic looking style & comfort this is my second pareThe glasses looked pretty good on me and felt ok but the bifocal section was not as wide set as others I have worn. I purchase these for a trip where I planned to be walking quite a bit so I didn't want them to make me feel out of balance. If you are more accustomed to bifocals, they would probably work better for you.If you don't like the glasses at least the case is wonderful. I have bought many glasses on my lifetime, but this is the first time that I am impressed with the case. It's sturdy and good looking. Just the case was worth my money.I wish the bifocal reading area was larger. These are good looking aviator glasses of very nice quality. Not cheap looking at all. I bought the black version. The bifocal part is generously sized which is great for driving in a car or flying an aircraft because you don't need to peer through the bottom of the lenses to see the instruments in focus. For beach reading you may find the bifocal parting line to be a wee bit on the high side. It doesn't bother me, but some may find it to be in an annoying place in the lenses. It would all depend on your personal preference and how the glasses fit your particular face. In my case with my head in a natural "neutral" position looking forward the line appears about at the level of a light aircraft's panel top edge as viewed from the pilot's seat. This is slightly above the level of the dashboard in my car, and above where most of my readers split the lens. The lenses are not polarized so LCD displays look fine but there is little glare control. You won't be spotting fish in these like you do in polarized glasses. The tint is a little purple-ish for my likes, Brightly back lit cloud edges look a bit redish-purple,.... like a sunset even at mid day... but it is OK. I don't know why no one makes sun-readers in the neutral tint lenses that are typical of the (green looking) Ray Ban lenses. If they are out there I have yet to find them in any style frame. If you know of any please leave a comment to this review to let us all know where to get them! It is also a gradient lens, so the bottom is not as dark as the top, which again in automobiles or airplanes is a plus because the instruments on your panel are generally not as brightly lit as the sun outside the windshield, but the gradient tinting is far from ideal for beaches or boats where you get a lot of reflection off the water.Mine came with a flat style faux-alligator hard case and cleaning cloth as, which I wasn't expecting. Very nice! For what they are they are quite nice and the price is very attractive. Pilots and drivers should love these, fishermen, beach-goers and sailors.... not so much... but at this price you can afford to buy a pair for exclusive use in your car or plane. These reader sunglasses are a quality item. They are really well made, substantial sunglass readers with great lenses and great fit. I was pleasantly pleased when I put these sunglasses on and they are comfortable and great for reading.Great quality and clear opticsBifocals were on the enter most part of the lens. Made you feel crosseyed.I really liked these sunglasses when I first got them. They come with a nice hard case and a lens cloth. I have had no issues with the frame. I like the bifocal inserts as well as the gradation of the lenses. These both make these glasses good for driving. What I found over a few months is that even with use of the case and lens cloth, the lenses scratched easily. For the price I paid they are OK, just understand their limitations.Very stylish and comfortable for driving. Best anti-glare glasses I have owned. The only drawback is the very visible bifocal line and the clunky case. I can live with that..for the moment at least.A couple of years ago, I found a couple of pairs of Aviator variable focus sunglasses for $19.99 at Wal-Mart. Sadly they don't appear to sell them any more. Amazon does offer a similar product - more pricey now - and I will probably try it out at some point. The lens are fine but the frames rather flimsy, especially the nose pieces. Bit expensive for the lack of quality.Love that I can see my gauges clearly while riding my motorcycle .Got these for my husband and they are excellent. Will definitely get again.
