Okay, true confession time: I'm not an athelete. I don't ski. I don't cycle or snowboard. I got these glasses 'cause they just plain look cool. Not sad! The frame adjustS to make it fit perfectly to my melon, and the visor (lens) actually makes colors pop! I can see why someone who skis would like these. The oversized lens also keeps out wind, and therefore particles, and doesn't let in sneaky "side sun." So yes...they look cool AND function well! Add a crush-resistant hard case with a cleaning cloth and you've got a heck of a great value IMO.These Snowledge Polarized Cycling Glasses are outstanding!I gave these sunglasses as a gift to a "friend" who is rabidly into outdoor sports all of them pretty much but especially Kayaking. Wonderfully manufactured and flawless on arrival these glasses are remarkably light weight, cover the entire eye zone for both glare reduction and protection for the eyes and they truly look great on him! The frames are adjustable to the individual in about 6 different areas making for a super comfortable and secure fit when worn. They also appear as if they will hold up against the banging of the sports world as well. I chose the matt black frames with the "gold" lenses and he loves his birthday gift. I also really think these are a bargain if you are looking for this type of sporting/protective glasses.I am very, very, very happy with this item---thank you!I like them.
